Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Insta Build 3D does with your information when you use insta-build-3d.aftershock.agency. It covers the demo request form, the live configurator demos on this site, and the analytics we use to understand how the site is performing.

Who we are

Insta Build 3D builds interactive 3D product configurators and the sales infrastructure around them. The site is operated by Aftershock. For anything in this policy, contact us at privacy@aftershock.agency.

Where this policy says "we" or "us" it means Aftershock acting as the controller of the information described below.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the demo request form we collect the details you enter: your name and work email, and optionally your company, phone number, the industry you are building for, and anything you write in the message field. If you reached the form from a specific example on the site, we also record which one, so we can tailor our reply.

If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics record technical details when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and the approximate region you are in. This is aggregated and used to understand traffic patterns, not to identify you personally.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card details or any sensitive personal information through this website.

How we use your information

• To reply to your demo request and prepare a relevant demonstration
• To discuss a possible project, provide quotes, and manage work we agree to do
• To understand which parts of the site and which example configurators are useful
• To keep the site secure, available and working correctly
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used — which pages get visited, where visitors come from, and which configurator demos get opened. Google sets cookies to do this and processes the data on our behalf. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings — the site works fine either way.

We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

Live configurator demos

The "Try it" buttons open a working configurator we have built, either in a window over this page or in a new tab. Those configurators are hosted on our clients' own domains and are governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

Anything you configure, click or enter inside one of those demos goes to the site hosting it. We see only that a demo was opened, and which one.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that let us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

• Hosting and content infrastructure — to serve this website and store its content and media
• Google Analytics — for the usage measurement described above
• Email delivery — to send and receive correspondence about your enquiry

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

Demo requests and related correspondence are kept for as long as we are in contact with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If a project goes ahead, we keep the records for as long as our agreement and our accounting obligations require. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule.

Ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information
• Stop or limit how we use it
• Object to a particular use

Email privacy@aftershock.agency and we will respond as quickly as we can. We will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it, and our infrastructure providers are established vendors with their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place for international transfers.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in quietly.
